County Endurance 10

Every year in early March, the county scouting team organise a series of Endurance events over a weekend focused on map reading, orienteering and hiking over the Chilterns. Specifically,
- ED10 for Cubs – a gentle 10km hike around Great Missenden
- ED40 for Scouts – a marathon distance for the scouts to complete in one go
- ED 60 & 80 for Explorers – extreme running and overnight hiking for explorers and adults
This year, we entered a cub team, who joined over 400 other cubs as they hiked to Great Missenden. The weather had been kind days before, so the tracks and pathways were dry and relatively free of ponds and puddles. As you can see from the pictures, a great time had by all.
