Monopoly Run London 2024

We took 20 scouts from Ravens Mondays and Harriers Thursdays, plus 7 adults, earlier this month to London to compete in the Monopoly Run.  This annual event is very much like playing the classic board game – the objective is to travel around London in groups, in zones 1 and 2, going to the destinations set out on the official app. Plus completing challenges and quizzes on the way.

We started at the Imperial War Museum at 10:00 and raced around London visiting 32 locations. We finished at 5pm – winning the competition this year!

There was 1,395 teams and 8,000 scouts and guides competing.

We competed as Eagles – Bald (Will), Screaming (Martin), Golden (Clare) and our team captain Suzi (Sea).

We came first out of everyone with £15,493! Second place had £13,735 and third place had £11,945.

Well done to everyone who took part and a big thank you all of our volunteers on the day.
