Date for your diary – Family Experience Day 7th October

Date: 24th Jul 2023 Author: Ruth Jeffery

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to cook on a baked bean can? Or tie a Turk’s Head woggle? Or to build a 5-man raft?  Or to cook dough twizzlers on an open fire? Or light a fire with a flint and some cotton wool or a battery? Or what a sissy stick is??

We thought it would be a fantastic opportunity for families to have a go and experience these and learn other skills at an activity day. So why not come along and have a go?

Date:             Saturday 7th October

Time:             12:30pm – 16:00pm

Location:      Bernwood Scout HQ, Chearsley Road, Long Crendon (next to tennis courts)

We will organise tea, coffee, soft drinks and some nibbles!  Please can you let us know so we can plan for the number of attendees. Any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
