Volunteer Leaders Needed – Join Our Scouting Family
1st Bernwood Forest Scout Group are gearing up for another exciting autumn term—but we need your help to keep the adventure alive!
Due to a recent change in our leadership team, we’re seeking adult volunteers (aged 18+) to step into uniformed leader roles. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or simply someone who believes in the power of community and youth development, we’d love to welcome you aboard.
- No experience required
- You don’t need children in scouting to get involved
- Flexible commitment—roles can be shared. We have couples that share a single role
- Uniform costs fully covered
- Most of the training is online and fully flexible
- Priority on our waiting list and free membership for your child(ren) if they are scouting age
Volunteering with 1st Bernwood is a chance to make a real impact, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive, fun-loving team. But without new leaders, we may have to pause or close one of our key units by Christmas—a decision we’re working hard to avoid. If you’re curious or interested, please get in touch.
