Virtual scouting

This term the sections have been running activities virtually using a number of different techniques. Zoom sessions are working well with scavenger hunts, presentations, guest speakers and numerous challenges engaging young people to come together and have fun while developing skills in communication and learning about social distancing so important to what is going on today. The badges at home programme is being trialed by the falcons cub group with many enthusiastic cubs achieving badges with support at home and building on their skills for life. Popular badges include artist, chef and home help which is so important at this time with supporting parents. Take a look at each section’s news as to what has been happening this term.
